- The University of Ottawa is recognized as the 19th most sustainable University in the world according to the UI Green Metric World University Ranking
- The University of Ottawa completed its first Stars Survey, which stands for the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, and upon evaluation it received a STARS Silver Rating in recognition of its sustainability achievements.
2010
- Hydro Ottawa presented the University of Ottawa a cheque for more than $136,000 for its participation in the Utility’s Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program (ERIP). Watch the Director's video!
