Green Procurement

Every purchase the University makes has a variety of environmental, social and economic factors associated with it. The principles of corporate social responsibility demand that organizations take more of an interest in how they spend their money and the external affects that this can have on society at large.

As part of our campus efforts the University of Ottawa has committed itself to developing ethical and sustainable purchasing guidelines and practices. To learn more about responsible purchasing visit the Sustainability Purchasing Network.
